About the Role

As a Post Doctoral Scholar specializing in Microbial Infection and Immunity, you will conduct independent and collaborative research designed to expand our understanding of how pathogens interact with host immune systems. This role places you at the intersection of microbiology, immunology, and infection biology—disciplines that are critical to developing new therapeutics and preventive strategies for infectious diseases.

What You'll Do

  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments investigating microbial pathogenesis and immune responses
  • Develop and refine research methodologies using current molecular, cellular, and immunological techniques
  • Collect, interpret, and synthesize experimental data to support research conclusions
  • Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication and present findings at scientific conferences
  • Collaborate with faculty mentors, graduate students, and interdisciplinary research teams
  • Maintain detailed research records and contribute to grant preparation and laboratory operations
  • Stay current with published literature and emerging developments in infection and immunity

What We're Looking For

  • Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a closely related life science discipline
  • Strong background in experimental research with demonstrated technical proficiency in molecular and/or immunological methods
  • Publication record in peer-reviewed journals demonstrating research impact
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a research team environment
  • Commitment to rigorous scientific standards and research integrity
