Wedgewood Weddings is hiring a Wedding & Events DJ in Scituate Harbor, Plymouth County to become the heartbeat of unforgettable celebrations. This is a part-time role where you'll use your musical expertise and charisma to create the perfect atmosphere for couples and their guests.

About the Role

As our Wedding & Events DJ, you'll be the driving force behind the energy and atmosphere that makes each reception special. You'll work directly with couples to understand their vision, then deliver an experience that keeps guests engaged from the welcome through the final dance. Your ability to read the room, blend music seamlessly, and command the moment with confidence will help transform an evening into a cherished memory.

Core Duties

• Collaborate with couples to learn their musical preferences, must-play songs, and timing for key moments
• Operate professional DJ equipment including mixers, speakers, and microphones with technical proficiency
• Select and blend music across genres to match the mood and energy of each part of the reception
• Announce important events such as grand entrances, first dances, toasts, and other special moments
• Monitor crowd energy in real-time and adjust your mix to maintain engagement and momentum
• Coordinate with event coordinators and other vendors to ensure seamless execution
• Maintain equipment in excellent working condition and troubleshoot any technical issues
