About the Role
As a Cable Assembly Assembler at Teledyne Technologies, you'll be part of a skilled manufacturing team responsible for constructing and testing complex cable assemblies used in aerospace, defense, environmental monitoring, and specialized industrial systems. Your meticulous work ensures these components meet the high reliability standards Teledyne's customers depend on across critical applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Assemble cable assemblies following detailed technical specifications and engineering drawings
- Perform crimping, soldering, and wire termination using precision hand tools and assembly equipment
- Conduct functional testing and visual inspections to verify assemblies meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate work records and documentation for traceability and quality assurance
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly challenges and continuous improvement
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to all safety and operational protocols
What You Bring
- Experience with cable assembly, wiring, or electromechanical assembly work
- Proficiency with hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and related assembly equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly procedures accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality in precision work
- Solid work ethic, reliability, and ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to verify measurements and component tolerances
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
