About the Role
As an Assembly Technician at Teledyne Technologies in Camarillo, you will join a team that manufactures advanced, mission-critical products for demanding industrial markets. This is an on-site, full-time position ideal for a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in precise, quality-driven hands-on work and wants to contribute to products where reliability is non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
- Inspect completed work to confirm it meets quality, dimensional, and workmanship standards.
- Operate hand tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment safely and accurately.
- Document assembly steps and report any defects, discrepancies, or process issues to the team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in line with company and industry practices.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production colleagues to keep builds on schedule.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, schematics, and detailed assembly instructions.
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and close attention to fine detail.
- Comfortable using hand and small power tools in a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
- Willing and able to work on-site in Camarillo, Ventura County, in a full-time capacity.
- Prior assembly, manufacturing, or hands-on technical experience is a plus.
