Street Photographer

Cheez is hiring a part-time street photographer in Wilmington, New Castle County to help build excitement around its new photo sharing application. In this recurring role, you'll engage directly with local residents, capture professional-quality portraits and group photos, and introduce them to an innovative way to share their visual moments.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for photography with grassroots community marketing. You'll be the face of Cheez in Wilmington, connecting with people one conversation at a time and giving them a firsthand experience of what makes the platform special. Every portrait you take becomes a personal touchpoint that introduces people to the app and builds our community organically.

Core Duties

• Approach people in high-traffic public areas and invite them to participate in complimentary professional portrait sessions
• Capture individual portraits and group photographs using professional techniques and equipment
• Distribute informational cards and materials that guide participants to download and explore the Cheez application
• Engage authentically with subjects about the photo sharing platform and its features
• Maintain accurate records of photography sessions and outreach efforts

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with portrait and street photography
• Proficiency with professional camera equipment and lighting techniques
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable approaching strangers
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation to various locations within Wilmington
• Flexibility to work variable hours across different days and times
