Help shape how an early-stage consumer social app finds and wins its first wave of users — Cheez is hiring a full-time Marketing & Growth Lead in Bristol, Bristol County to own acquisition, brand, and engagement from the ground up.
About the Role
As the Marketing & Growth Lead at Cheez, you'll be the driving force behind how new users discover and fall in love with our app. Working on-site in Bristol alongside the Founder/CEO, you'll set the marketing direction for a fast-moving consumer social product and turn early traction into sustained growth. This is a hands-on, full-time role for someone who thrives in the ambiguity of an early-stage startup and wants real ownership over outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and run data-led marketing programmes that grow user acquisition, lift brand awareness, and deepen engagement across the app.
- Partner closely with the Founder/CEO and the wider team to shape Cheez's voice and go-to-market approach.
- Produce and ship engaging content across multiple channels, tailoring each message to the audience and platform.
- Track performance against clear metrics, then use those insights to refine campaigns and prioritise what works.
- Experiment quickly, learn from results, and double down on the growth levers that move the needle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading marketing or growth initiatives, ideally for a consumer-facing product or app.
- A genuinely data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate analytics into strategy and action.
- Strong content and storytelling skills across social, digital, and other consumer channels.
- Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a small, early-stage team based in Bristol.
- Energy, initiative, and a bias toward shipping and iterating fast.
