Business Intelligence UWEP Internship – Fall 2025

United Soccer League is seeking a driven, analytically minded college student for its Business Intelligence UWEP Internship this Fall 2025 semester, based out of Springfield, Greene County.

About the Role

The Business Intelligence UWEP Internship is structured for currently enrolled college students earning academic credit. Working alongside USL's data and analytics teams in Springfield, you'll contribute to real-world projects that power decisions across one of the most expansive soccer organizations in the United States. This is a hands-on, full-time internship — not a shadowing program.

What You'll Do

• Assist in building and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and reports that inform league and club operations
• Query, clean, and analyze structured data sets to surface actionable insights for internal stakeholders
• Support the development of data pipelines and visualization tools used across departments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business questions into data-driven answers
• Document processes, data definitions, and reporting logic to support team knowledge sharing
• Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university program — this position awards academic credit only
• Coursework or demonstrated experience in data analytics, business intelligence, computer science, statistics, or a related field
• Familiarity with SQL and at least one BI or data visualization platform (such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• Genuine interest in professional sports, soccer, or the business side of athletics is a plus
