About the Role

We're seeking a Research Assistant to support investigative work in a laboratory environment. What You'll Do

• Assist in conducting laboratory experiments and collecting experimental data under supervision
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and workspace in accordance with research protocols
• Document findings, observations, and results with precision and attention to detail
• Support data organization, analysis, and record-keeping for research projects
• Contribute to literature reviews and background research as needed
• Follow established laboratory safety procedures and institutional guidelines
• Collaborate with research team members to meet project milestones and deliverables

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, life sciences, or a related field (or equivalent demonstrated experience)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in scientific work
• Ability to follow complex protocols and written instructions precisely
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a research environment
• Willingness to learn laboratory techniques and adapt to evolving project needs
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with data management
• Prior laboratory experience or coursework is a plus
