H.T. Harvey & Associates, an ecological consulting firm headquartered in Northern California, is seeking a Staff-Level Landscape Designer for our landscape architecture group in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a full-time position based in Campbell, Santa Clara County.
About the Role
As a Staff-Level Landscape Designer, you'll lead landscape architecture projects that integrate ecological principles with innovative design solutions. You'll work with a collaborative team on meaningful environmental consulting work, bringing technical expertise and creative vision to projects throughout the Bay Area.
What You'll Do
- Design landscapes that balance environmental sustainability with client objectives
- Develop detailed site plans, drawings, and technical documentation
- Conduct site analysis and evaluate landscape conditions
- Collaborate with clients and interdisciplinary teams to refine design concepts
- Manage landscape design projects from concept through implementation
- Apply best practices in sustainable and ecological landscape design
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to team development
What We're Looking For
- Staff-level experience in landscape design or landscape architecture
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design expertise
- Proficiency with landscape design software and CAD tools
