This full-time faculty position blends teaching excellence with scholarly research and institutional service. You'll shape the computer science program by preparing students for careers in technology while advancing your own research agenda and contributing to departmental initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate computer science courses with pedagogy that accommodates students' diverse learning styles and career interests
- Advise and mentor undergraduate students engaged in research projects, independent studies, and academic growth
- Design course syllabi and develop curriculum materials that integrate contemporary industry standards and evidence-based teaching methods
- Establish and sustain an active scholarship program aligned with your research interests
- Seek external funding and grant opportunities to support research and departmental goals
- Contribute to departmental service, including committee participation and professional collaboration
- Work with colleagues to strengthen the computer science curriculum and program offerings
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Proven commitment to undergraduate teaching and student mentorship
- Record of or serious dedication to scholarly research and intellectual contribution
- Skill in developing inclusive coursework that meets students' varied backgrounds and needs
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Active engagement in departmental and institutional service
