About the Role
As an On Call Emergency Management Specialist, you'll be part of a specialized emergency response team ready to mobilize when situations demand immediate action. This cadre-based role requires availability to deploy with minimal advance notice to manage and coordinate emergency response efforts.
What You'll Do
- Respond to emergency incidents and provide immediate coordination and management support
- Assess emergency situations and implement response protocols
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies during activation
- Maintain readiness and complete required training and certifications
- Document response actions and support post-incident analysis
What We're Looking For
- Experience in emergency management, disaster response, or incident command
- Ability to respond rapidly with little advance notice
- Strong communication and coordination skills under pressure
- Current relevant certifications or demonstrated emergency management expertise
- Commitment to a 30-day availability window as part of the cadre
