Manager – Global Business Services (GBS) – Strategy

Join Deloitte as a Manager in our Global Business Services Strategy practice, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this full-time role, you'll drive strategic transformation for finance and operations functions across our enterprise clients.

About the Role

As a Manager focused on Global Business Services strategy, you're a trusted strategic advisor working directly with Chief Financial Officers, Chief Administrative Officers, and senior operations leaders. You'll help these executives evaluate, design, and implement transformational changes to their internal service delivery models—whether through outsourced partnerships or captive center operations. Your work combines deep process analysis with forward-looking strategy to unlock efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality across mission-critical business functions.

What You'll Do

• Partner with CFO and CAO clients to assess current GBS operating models and identify modernization opportunities
• Develop comprehensive strategy recommendations spanning process redesign, organizational structure, technology enablement, and delivery model selection
• Lead engagements evaluating captive centers, managed services partnerships, and hybrid models tailored to client priorities
• Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data to build business cases and measure outcomes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Deloitte to integrate tax, legal, technology, and change management perspectives
• Manage consulting relationships and lead client presentations at the executive level
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to thought leadership and business development

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree a plus
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, finance operations, business operations, or management positions within global organizations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
• Demonstrated client-facing and stakeholder management skills at senior levels
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, human resources, procurement, or IT operations functions
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to thrive in fast-paced, client-driven environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
