About the Role
As Senior Counsel, you'll serve as a trusted legal advisor to cross-functional teams navigating sophisticated legal challenges in healthcare operations. You'll combine deep legal expertise with strong business judgment to help shape strategic decisions, support new programs and initiatives, and ensure the organization maintains legal excellence and compliance standards.
What You'll Do
- Analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and business units
- Guide development and implementation of new programs, products, and organizational initiatives
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements across business functions
- Assess legal risks and recommend compliance strategies in healthcare operations
- Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel on significant legal matters
- Communicate legal concepts and recommendations clearly to non-lawyer stakeholders and executives
- Support regulatory compliance and policy development efforts
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law in any U.S. state
- 7+ years of legal experience, with significant work at senior in-house counsel level
- Expertise in healthcare law, regulatory compliance, or related disciplines (preferred)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills for complex legal matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities across diverse audiences
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative approach to working across organizations
