Arab American Family Support Center is hiring a Client Navigator to join our Queens Family Justice Center team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to guide vulnerable families toward safety, stability, and resources in Queens, New York City.

About the Role

As Client Navigator at AAFSC, you'll serve as a trusted guide for immigrant and refugee families navigating complex challenges and systems. This Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm position reports to the Director of the Anti-Violence Program and carries an annual salary of $55,570.27. You'll work within our Anti-Violence Program to connect clients with essential services, support, and pathways forward.

What You'll Do

  • Meet with clients to understand their needs, circumstances, and goals in a compassionate, culturally-aware manner
  • Assess situations and help families identify the right resources, referrals, and support services
  • Navigate clients through complex systems—from housing and legal aid to mental health care and emergency assistance
  • Maintain accurate, confidential case documentation and progress notes
  • Build and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers
  • Provide outreach within the Arab American and immigrant communities in Queens
  • Support program goals around family safety and stability

What We're Looking For

  • Lived experience as a member of the Arab American, immigrant, or refugee community is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated compassion and cultural competency when working with vulnerable populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially across language and cultural differences
  • Ability to navigate systems, gather information, and solve problems creatively
  • Reliable, organized approach to documentation and case management
  • Commitment to supporting our mission of family safety and community empowerment
