Constellation Energy is hiring a full-time Business Development Manager in Circleville, Travis County, to drive growth and strategic partnerships within our wholesale power operations across the PJM and ERCOT markets.
About the Role
This Business Development Manager position focuses on identifying and cultivating opportunities in regional energy markets, with emphasis on our PJM and ERCOT service territories. You'll work to expand our market presence, build long-term customer relationships, and support our mission as the nation's largest clean energy producer. This is an on-site role based in Circleville, Travis County.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities across wholesale power markets in PJM and ERCOT regions
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, utilities, power traders, and industry partners
- Conduct market analysis and competitive research to inform growth strategy
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and commercial teams to structure and close deals
- Support RFP responses and contract negotiations
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments affecting regional grid operations
What We're Looking For
- Experience in business development, sales, or account management in energy or utilities
- Familiarity with wholesale power markets, regional transmission organizations, or grid operations
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Analytical ability and comfort with market data
- Self-directed approach with proven track record closing business
- Willingness to travel as needed within service territory
