About the Role

As an Asset Finance Associate at Wadkins Associates, you'll provide specialized support in structuring, documenting, and managing asset finance transactions. Working alongside senior professionals, you'll contribute to complex deal execution while developing deep expertise in asset-backed financing, lease structures, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and review asset finance documentation, including security agreements, UCC filings, and financing statements
• Support the structuring and underwriting of asset finance transactions across various asset classes
• Conduct legal and regulatory due diligence on asset finance transactions
• Coordinate with clients, lenders, and third parties to ensure seamless transaction execution
• Maintain transaction management systems and prepare client reports and closing materials
• Research asset finance market trends and provide analysis to support deal development
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations and financial reporting requirements

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of post-qualification experience in banking, finance, or related legal practice
• Strong knowledge of asset finance, commercial lending, or secured transactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Proficiency in financial modeling or transaction analysis
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to client service
