Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Part-Time, Variable Shift

Adventist Health seeks a Part-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for our Chatsworth location in Los Angeles County. Help our diagnostic imaging team deliver quality patient care with flexible variable shift scheduling in Southern California.

About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you'll operate diagnostic imaging equipment to help our physicians identify and treat patient conditions. You'll work variable shifts as a part-time team member, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, positioning patients for imaging studies, managing patient safety, and maintaining detailed procedural records. This is an excellent opportunity for a certified technologist seeking flexible hours in a modern healthcare setting.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceutical agents following established protocols
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, including SPECT and PET systems
• Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and address any clinical concerns
• Verify image quality and perform equipment quality control tests
• Maintain accurate and complete procedural documentation
• Follow radiation safety and HIPAA compliance protocols
• Communicate findings with radiologists and clinical staff

What We're Looking For

• Active ARRT (NMTC) or CNMT certification
• Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine imaging protocols
• Proven patient care and clinical communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to lift, position, and support patients safely
• Physical capability to work extended standing periods
• Flexibility to accommodate variable shift assignments
