As a Physical Therapist at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls, you'll play a vital role in our patient care team. This part-time position, based in Inwood, Lyon County, offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a structured rehabilitation hospital environment. You'll evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and guide them through recovery using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

What You'll Do

• Perform comprehensive physical assessments to evaluate patient mobility, strength, and functional capacity
• Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with each patient's rehabilitation goals
• Administer therapeutic exercises and manual techniques to improve patient outcomes
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical findings, and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, safety, and long-term recovery strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards

What We're Looking For

• Valid Physical Therapy license to practice in South Dakota
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Strong clinical foundation in patient assessment and therapeutic intervention
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
