Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead global rental sales operations from our Illinois Medical District office in Chicago. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive significant revenue growth, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, and expand our market presence across the North American region.
About the Role
You will own the sales performance and strategic direction of our global vacation rental portfolio in your region. This leadership role puts you at the center of revenue generation, team development, and market expansion. You'll manage complex sales operations while staying focused on delivering measurable results and building lasting client partnerships.
What You'll Do
- Lead, hire, and develop a regional sales team; establish performance standards and coach professionals toward excellence
- Create and execute sales strategies that drive rental bookings, achieve revenue targets, and grow market share
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and distribution networks
- Analyze market conditions, competitive activity, and sales performance data to uncover growth opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to enhance the customer experience and sales effectiveness
- Track sales metrics, manage forecasting, and ensure pipeline visibility to drive accountability
- Represent the company at industry events, partnership meetings, and strategic negotiations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years managing sales teams in travel, hospitality, vacation rental, or closely related industries
- Demonstrated success building teams and consistently exceeding revenue goals
- Strong abilities in strategic planning, negotiation, relationship management, and business analysis
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or related field
- Comfort working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and performance-driven culture
