Join University of Colorado's Center for Clinical Immunology as an HLA Molecular Technologist in Centennial, Arapahoe County. We're seeking a skilled laboratory professional to perform critical HLA and immunological molecular testing for patients and research initiatives across our Anschutz Medical Campus.

About the Role

This full-time position is located in Centennial and contributes directly to the Department of Medicine's clinical immunology program. As an HLA Molecular Technologist, you'll execute specialized molecular diagnostics that inform patient care decisions, transplantation compatibility assessments, and ongoing clinical research.

What You'll Do

  • Perform Class I and Class II HLA molecular typing in accordance with established laboratory protocols
  • Conduct ABO and Rh blood group testing and result interpretation
  • Execute CMV testing protocols, including total antibody and chimerism analyses
  • Process biological samples according to standard operating procedures
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, quality control data, and assay performance
  • Operate and troubleshoot molecular diagnostic instrumentation
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety, regulatory, and quality standards
  • Communicate findings clearly with clinical team members and supporting staff

What We're Looking For

  • Clinical laboratory technician certification or equivalent hands-on experience in molecular diagnostics
  • Solid understanding of HLA molecular typing methodologies and immunology principles
  • Demonstrated ability to follow complex written protocols with precision
