About the Role
This Researcher position offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful cancer research within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. You'll work alongside experienced scientists and clinicians to design, conduct, and analyze studies that expand our understanding of cancer mechanisms and develop new therapeutic approaches.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute research protocols and experiments investigating cancer biology and treatment strategies
- Conduct laboratory analyses, data collection, and statistical evaluation of research findings
- Maintain detailed research records and ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to scientific manuscript preparation and presentation of research at conferences
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams including faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students
- Support grant preparation, project management, and research planning initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Knowledge of research methodologies, laboratory techniques, and best practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within research teams
- Commitment to attention to detail, accuracy, and research integrity
- Experience with relevant laboratory instrumentation or analytical techniques is advantageous
