About the Role
As a Contact Center Representative at Self-Help Services Corp, you'll be the voice and front line of our organization, connecting with individuals and families seeking economic opportunity and support. You'll handle inbound and outbound calls, answer inquiries, and guide people through our programs and services designed to promote economic justice and opportunity in underserved communities.
What You'll Do
- Answer inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Provide accurate information about Self-Help Services Corp programs and services
- Document and maintain detailed call records and customer information in our systems
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments or specialists when needed
- Handle routine administrative tasks to support center operations
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all compliance and security protocols
- Meet quality and productivity standards while representing our mission with integrity
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Professional communication skills and the ability to listen actively to diverse callers
- Comfort learning and using computer systems and call center software
- Reliable attendance and punctuality in a structured, office-based environment
- Customer service experience is a plus
