About the Role
As a full-time Board Member at Haven Hills, you will serve in a governance and strategic leadership capacity, overseeing the organization's mission and impact. You will bring your professional expertise and judgment to guide Haven Hills in its work supporting survivors of domestic violence. Board members at Haven Hills participate in shaping organizational strategy, ensuring effective governance, and advancing the organization's commitment to serving over 2,500 individuals each year through shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, advocacy, and economic opportunity programs.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence and ending family violence
- Nonprofit board experience or extensive experience in organizational governance and strategic planning
- Professional expertise in relevant fields such as nonprofit management, finance, law, business, or community development
- Ability to attend board meetings regularly and actively engage with organizational leadership
- Passion for Haven Hills' mission and the communities it serves

The organization provides emergency shelter, immediate crisis intervention, professional counseling, comprehensive advocacy support, and programs that create pathways to economic independence.
