About the Role
This travel nursing assignment specializes in gastroenterology and endoscopy patient care. Beginning September 14, 2025, you'll work four 10-hour days per week in a clinical environment where you'll support physicians performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The position combines direct patient care responsibilities with procedural support in a structured, fast-paced healthcare setting.
What You'll Do
- Assist during gastroenterology and endoscopy procedures with patient monitoring
- Check vital signs and ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies according to clinical protocols
- Document patient information and procedure details accurately in medical records
- Communicate with the clinical team and provide post-procedure patient instructions
- Support patient safety and infection control standards
What We're Looking For
- RN license valid in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
- Current BLS or BCLS certification
- Endoscopy or GI nursing background preferred; travel nursing experience not required
