About the Role
You'll serve as the shift leader for production operations at our Obetz, OH location, overseeing the second shift team and ensuring all manufacturing runs to schedule and quality standards. This role reports to plant management and represents a key supervisory position within our facility's operational structure.
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise production team members during the 2nd shift
- Monitor production schedules, manage workflow, and track output metrics
- Enforce quality control and safety compliance standards across all operations
- Coordinate equipment operation and respond to production issues in real time
- Maintain accurate production records and report shift performance to facility management
- Develop and support team member performance and skills
- Facilitate shift transitions and handoffs with day shift leadership
What We're Looking For
- Experience supervising or leading production or manufacturing teams
- Knowledge of production equipment, processes, and safety protocols
- Strong ability to motivate teams while maintaining strict quality and safety standards
- Proficiency with production scheduling and performance data tracking
- Clear communication skills and professional demeanor
- Reliable availability for consistent 2nd shift work
- High school diploma or equivalent
