Grocery Clerk

Kroger Family of Companies is hiring a full-time Grocery Clerk in Irmo, Richland County. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our store operations—stocking shelves, supporting our sales goals, and creating an environment where customers want to shop and return.

About the Role

As a Grocery Clerk, you'll play a key part in our store's daily success. You'll work as part of a team to keep our shelves fully stocked, our prices accurate, and our shopping environment clean and welcoming. This is a fast-paced position that combines physical work, attention to detail, and genuine customer service.

What You'll Do

• Stock grocery shelves and product displays with speed and accuracy, following planogram standards
• Receive, unload, and organize incoming merchandise and inventory
• Monitor product quality and remove damaged or expired items from shelves
• Support sales and profit goals set by department managers
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment for customers and team members
• Assist customers with questions about product location and features
• Operate checkout registers when needed and process transactions
• Follow all company safety protocols and quality assurance standards
• Contribute to a positive team culture that puts customers first

What We're Looking For

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in various store environments
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and ability to work well on a team
• Basic math skills for price accuracy and inventory counts
• Experience in retail, grocery, or a similar environment is a plus but not required
