About the Role

As an Asset Protection Associate, you will help ensure a safe shopping and working environment by monitoring activity, responding to concerns, and supporting loss‑prevention initiatives. This full‑time position involves patrolling both interior and exterior areas, coordinating with store and distribution‑center teams, and documenting incidents according to company policy.

What You'll Do

• Conduct regular patrols of sales floors, receiving docks, parking lots, and perimeter zones to deter theft and vandalism.
• Monitor CCTV feeds and alarm systems, escalating suspicious behavior to management or law enforcement when warranted.
• Assist with internal investigations, including gathering statements, preserving evidence, and preparing reports.
• Support store leadership with safety training, emergency drills, and compliance checks for fire, slip‑and‑fall, and workplace‑hazard protocols.
• Provide courteous assistance to customers and employees while maintaining a visible presence that promotes security.
• Collaborate with the distribution‑center team to address asset‑protection needs that impact retail locations served by the facility.
• Participate in audits of inventory controls, cash handling, and merchandise protection procedures.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in criminal justice, loss prevention, or safety is a plus.
• Previous experience in security, retail asset protection, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Effective communication abilities for writing clear incident reports and interacting with diverse individuals.
• Basic familiarity with video surveillance systems, access‑control equipment, and alarm monitoring.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between sites when required.
