Behavioral Technician - Willing to Train at Proud Moments ABA in New Jersey, US.

About the Role

As a Behavioral Technician, you will deliver direct, one‑on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. This is a part‑time position where you work under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts to help clients build communication, social, and daily‑living skills in home, school, or community settings.

What You'll Do

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans designed by supervising clinicians.
• Conduct structured teaching sessions using discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and other ABA techniques.
• Collect accurate data on client performance and progress during each session.
• Prepare session notes and maintain confidential records in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
• Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to share observations and reinforce skill generalization.
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision meetings, and team case reviews.
• Ensure a safe, supportive environment that promotes client engagement and well‑being.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Willingness to complete the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and obtain certification if not already certified.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and any required health screenings.
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine interest in helping children learn and grow.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations within the New Jersey service area.
• Flexibility to work part‑time hours, including evenings or weekends as needed to meet family schedules.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry and report generation.
