VAS Vice President

CBRE is seeking a VAS Vice President to join its Valuation & Advisory Services team in Edgewood, Orange County.

About the Role

The VAS Vice President leads appraisal projects across a diverse portfolio, ensuring that valuations meet industry standards and client expectations. This position partners with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver accurate property assessments that support investment, financing, and strategic decisions.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the preparation of valuation reports for residential, commercial, industrial, and specialty properties
• Direct property inspections, data collection, and market analysis to support credible conclusions
• Ensure all appraisals comply with USPAP, CBRE policies, and applicable regulatory requirements
• Mentor and develop junior analysts and appraisers, fostering technical expertise and professional growth
• Present findings to clients, lenders, and executives, translating complex data into clear recommendations
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying new valuation opportunities and maintaining client relationships
• Stay current with market trends, emerging valuation methodologies, and technological tools that enhance accuracy

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading valuation assignments for a variety of asset types
• Strong knowledge of appraisal principles, standards, and best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client-facing presentations
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities to develop team members
• Proficiency with industry-standard software and data platforms used in property valuation
• A commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality in all professional activities
