Associate Manager, Corporate Safety and Security

DoorDash USA is hiring a Full-Time Associate Manager, Corporate Safety and Security in Tempe, Maricopa County to lead safety initiatives that protect people, property, and operations.

About the Role

The Associate Manager partners with cross‑functional teams to design and execute safety and security strategies that support DoorDash’s rapid growth. This position focuses on risk mitigation, incident response, and fostering a secure environment for employees, merchants, and customers.

What You'll Do

• Develop, implement, and maintain corporate safety policies, procedures, and emergency plans.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits of facilities, offices, and operational sites.
• Lead incident investigations, coordinate with law enforcement, and oversee corrective action tracking.
• Manage access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems to ensure physical security compliance.
• Deliver safety training programs and awareness campaigns for staff and contractors.
• Partner with HR, Legal, and Operations to address workplace safety concerns and compliance requirements.
• Prepare reports and metrics for senior leadership on safety performance and risk trends.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in safety management, criminal justice, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate safety, security, or risk management, preferably in a fast‑paced tech or logistics environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, emergency response protocols, and physical security best practices.
• Proven ability to conduct investigations, analyze data, and recommend actionable improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience training diverse audiences and influencing stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with security technology platforms (CCTV, access control, incident tracking software) and MS Office suite.
