About the Role

Working on the Home Soft Goods team, you will help create comforting and imaginative products that bring Disney stories into bedrooms, living rooms, and everyday spaces.

What You'll Do

• Develop original concepts for blankets, pillows, bedding, throws, and other textile‑based home accessories featuring Disney characters and franchises.
• Produce detailed sketches, digital renderings, and technical specifications using industry‑standard design software.
• Collaborate with product developers, merchandisers, and licensing partners to ensure designs meet brand guidelines, safety standards, and production timelines.
• Conduct trend research and consumer insights to inform color palettes, fabric selections, and pattern directions.
• Participate in fit reviews, prototype evaluations, and supplier communications to refine samples before launch.
• Maintain organized design libraries and version controls for seamless hand‑off to manufacturing teams.

What We're Looking For

• A bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• 3+ years of experience designing soft goods for consumer products, preferably in home, apparel, or lifestyle categories.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD tools such as Clo3D or Gerber AccuMark.
• Strong understanding of fabric properties, construction techniques, and print processes.
• Ability to translate brand storytelling into compelling product designs that resonate with families and fans.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teamwork.
• A portfolio showcasing a range of soft‑good concepts, technical flats, and finished product images.
