About the Role
As a Server in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our residents. This position combines hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care—essential qualities in a premier Life Plan Community where residents' comfort and dignity are paramount.
What You'll Do
- Serve meals and beverages to residents in dining areas and private rooms, adhering to individualized dietary requirements and restrictions
- Set and clear tables with attention to presentation and proper etiquette
- Assist residents with dining needs, including those with mobility challenges or special accommodations
- Maintain clean, sanitary dining spaces and follow food safety protocols
- Communicate dietary preferences, allergies, and concerns to the food service team
- Support residents' social engagement during meal times in a warm, encouraging manner
- Work collaboratively with nursing and culinary staff to ensure resident satisfaction
What We're Looking For
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for evening shift commitments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patience and empathy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays safely
- Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or senior care (preferred but not required)
