What You'll Do
- Load, secure, and transport parts and merchandise between distribution centers and AutoZone stores in the Farmville area.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs, and comply with all DOT and company safety regulations.
- Assist store teams with unloading deliveries, organizing inventory, and keeping sales floors neat and well‑stocked.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable service to customers when visiting stores, helping them locate the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs.
- Support sales goals by ensuring product availability and responding promptly to store requests for urgent parts.
- Communicate any delivery issues or vehicle concerns to supervisors and dispatch personnel in a timely manner.
What We're Looking For
- A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicles operated, with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in safe vehicle operation, load securement, and basic vehicle maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and oral instructions accurately.
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with store staff and customers in a courteous, professional manner.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and completing delivery paperwork.
