Avesis is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast Region covering Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. This is a full-time position based in the US, offering the opportunity to lead sales growth across one of our most dynamic markets while representing the nation's leading provider of supplemental benefits.
About the Role
As Regional Sales Manager, you'll drive commercial vision program sales throughout your territory while building a reputation as a trusted benefits advisor. You'll manage a substantial pipeline of prospects and accounts, serving as both strategic sales leader and hands-on contributor to revenue growth in the Northeast region.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute territory sales strategy to achieve and exceed regional sales targets
- Identify, pursue, and close new commercial vision program accounts across OH, PA, MD, DC, and VA
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and benefits brokers
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through contract close and ongoing account management
- Collaborate with internal teams to support client onboarding, implementation, and retention
- Travel throughout your territory to meet clients, prospects, and partners in person
- Monitor market trends and competitive positioning within the supplemental benefits space
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in benefits, insurance, or related fields
- Proven track record managing a defined territory and exceeding sales quotas
- Strong knowledge of commercial vision programs, supplemental benefits, or group health products
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a competitive sales environment
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout your region
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
