Sanford Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for full-time night shift work in long-term care across the United States. This is a 24-hour per week position working consistent overnight shifts in a skilled nursing facility setting.
About the Role
Join Sanford Health's long-term care team as a Licensed Practical Nurse committed to delivering quality patient care during night hours. You'll work 12-hour overnight shifts providing direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment. This part-time position offers schedule flexibility with a guaranteed 24 hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to long-term care residents throughout night shifts
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient conditions according to clinical protocols
- Support activities of daily living and respond promptly to resident requests and needs
- Collaborate with nursing assistants, therapists, and day-shift staff to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate medical records and communicate changes in resident status to the nursing team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) licensure in your state
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred
- Ability to work consistently on night shift (overnight hours)
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients and respond to care needs independently
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Compensation & Schedule
Salary range: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour, with night differential pay. Work predictable 12-hour night shifts as a part-time LPN, gaining the stability of scheduled hours while maintaining flexibility.
