About the Role
As a Patient Services Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients navigating cancer care. Working full-time Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., you'll manage critical patient interactions from intake through scheduling, ensuring a welcoming, organized experience during this important time in patients' lives.
What You'll Do
- Welcome and register patients, collecting intake information and insurance details
- Schedule and coordinate appointments across clinical departments
- Verify insurance coverage and respond to billing questions
- Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation
- Communicate with patients via phone and in person, primarily in Spanish
- Process patient check-ins and manage front-desk operations
- Support clinical and billing teams with administrative coordination
What We're Looking For
- Spanish and English bilingual communication abilities (Spanish strongly preferred)
- Experience in healthcare, clinical, or patient-facing roles
- Proficiency with medical scheduling software and administrative systems
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Patient, professional demeanor in high-volume environments
- Attention to detail with medical records and insurance information
