About the Role

As a Specialty Sales Team Leader, you'll oversee daily sales operations in your specialty category, mentoring team members and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You'll balance hands-on sales expertise with coaching and team development, setting the tone for excellence in your department.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop specialty sales team members to reach individual and department targets
• Drive sales performance while maintaining Target's commitment to guest service standards
• Coach team members on product knowledge and consultative selling techniques
• Manage inventory, visual presentation, and merchandising within your specialty area
• Model Target's values and create a positive, collaborative team environment
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in retail sales or a related customer-facing role
• Demonstrated leadership ability and comfort coaching others
• Strong communication skills and genuine passion for customer service
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience in a specialty sales category is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

This part-time Specialty Sales Team Leader position offers starting pay of $20.25–$22.25 per hour, with the full pay range of $20.25–$34.45 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Target values its team members and provides opportunities for growth and development.
