Austin Careers is recruiting a full-time Field Office Manager for Austin Industrial's project operations in Plaquemine, Louisiana. Based on-site in Iberville Parish, you'll oversee the administrative, accounting, and personnel functions that keep jobsite operations running smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role

As Field Office Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the project office, managing day-to-day functions that support the entire project team. You'll coordinate between field operations, corporate management, and project stakeholders while maintaining the systems and oversight that drive efficiency, compliance, and productivity.

What You'll Do

  • Direct jobsite accounting, including invoicing, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and financial reporting
  • Oversee personnel administration—employee onboarding, time tracking, payroll coordination, and HR compliance
  • Manage office operations, equipment inventory, supplies procurement, and project documentation systems
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project records, schedules, and performance reports
  • Collaborate with project management on budget tracking, cost control, and resource planning
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and industry regulations
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact and problem-solver for the jobsite team

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience as a Field Office Manager, office manager, or related administrative role in construction or industrial environments
  • Strong accounting and financial management background; bookkeeping or accounting certification valued
  • Proficiency with accounting software platforms and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Clear communication ability and collaborative approach to working with diverse teams
  • Working knowledge of construction industry standards and terminology
  • High attention to detail and reliability in a dynamic jobsite setting
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver consistent results
