Real Estate Specialist

Fulton County's Department of Real Estate & Asset Management is hiring a Real Estate Specialist for our Atlanta office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support critical real estate and asset management operations for one of Georgia's largest government employers.

About the Role

As a Real Estate Specialist with Fulton County, you'll play an essential part in managing, acquiring, and maintaining the county's real estate portfolio. Working in our Atlanta headquarters' Department of Real Estate & Asset Management, you'll handle property transactions, lease agreements, and real estate acquisitions that serve the county's diverse operational needs across Atlanta and surrounding areas.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate and manage real estate acquisitions and dispositions for county operations
• Oversee lease management and renewal processes for county-owned and leased properties
• Assess property conditions and coordinate maintenance and improvement projects
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all real estate transactions and agreements
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors on property-related matters
• Support compliance with real estate regulations and county policies
• Prepare reports and analysis on real estate portfolio performance and holdings

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated knowledge of real estate principles, practices, and transactions
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
