Syneos Health, a fully-integrated life sciences services organization, is hiring an Internal Account Director focused on Recruitment & Retention to join our Clinical Solutions team in the United States. This is a full-time, in-office position with a growing company that partners across the drug development and commercialization landscape.
About the Role
As an Internal Account Director for Recruitment & Retention, you'll lead strategic initiatives to attract, onboard, and retain top talent across our organization. You'll be the bridge between our Clinical Solutions teams and Human Resources, translating business needs into effective people strategies that reduce turnover and build strong team cohesion.
What You'll Do
- Design and execute recruitment strategies aligned with departmental growth and organizational goals
- Develop retention programs and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen team stability and satisfaction
- Partner with hiring managers to refine job descriptions, competency requirements, and interview processes for Clinical Solutions roles
- Build talent pipelines and nurture relationships with high-performing candidates and internal employee networks
- Monitor key recruitment and retention metrics—time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, voluntary turnover rates—and report on program effectiveness
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding excellence, training development, and career pathing for Clinical Solutions team members
- Identify retention risks early and implement targeted interventions to reduce flight risk
- Communicate recruitment wins and retention success stories across the organization
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in recruitment, talent management, or related HR functions
- Proven track record reducing turnover and improving employee retention within complex organizations
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing channels, and screening methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort building credibility with executives and frontline teams alike
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret recruitment and retention data and make data-driven recommendations
- Familiarity with life sciences, clinical operations, or professional services environments is valued
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
