The NCAA is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Women's Basketball to join our Indianapolis headquarters. You'll partner with the Director of Women's Basketball to guide the strategic direction and operational execution of the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship, connecting athletes, institutions, and fans across the nation.

This position combines championship administration, event management, and stakeholder partnership oversight. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of one of college athletics' most watched and celebrated annual events while maintaining the integrity, safety, and brand excellence the championship demands.

What You'll Do

  • Co-administer the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship alongside the Director
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee ancillary events and programming related to the championship
  • Establish and enforce comprehensive safety and security protocols for all championship venues and activities
  • Develop and execute brand management strategies that strengthen the championship's identity and reach
  • Manage relationships with corporate partners and sponsorship organizations
  • Serve as primary liaison between championship operations and corporate relations teams
  • Lead special strategic initiatives that enhance the championship experience for student-athletes and fans
  • Work with CCP partners to ensure aligned execution across all championship components

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Proven experience in NCAA athletics administration, sports event management, or championship operations
  • Demonstrated success coordinating large-scale projects with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with skill in building and maintaining partnerships
  • Experience managing corporate sponsorships and brand initiatives in sports or similar environments
  • Understanding of collegiate athletic governance and compliance requirements
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is essential
