About the Role

Decker Truck Line is actively recruiting Regional Reefer Drivers who are motivated to maximize miles and income. This full-time regional position offers drivers the opportunity to work routes that prioritize output and availability—not tenure. You'll operate refrigerated equipment across established regional lanes, delivering temperature-sensitive freight on schedule while maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.

What You'll Do

  • Operate refrigerated (reefer) equipment on assigned regional routes throughout your territory
  • Maintain precise temperature control and cargo integrity during transit
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
  • Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols
  • Document accurate logs, delivery confirmations, and trip records
  • Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route status and any issues
  • Load and secure freight in compliance with weight distribution and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Minimum 6 months of professional truck driving experience
  • Experience operating refrigerated equipment preferred
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to equipment maintenance
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
  • Ability to work full-time regional routes with consistent availability
