About the Role

This is a full-time regional flatbed driving position with Decker, a trusted name in Midwest trucking. You'll operate a company tractor, safely transporting flatbed freight throughout the region while maintaining our reputation for reliability and on-time delivery. Unlike over-the-road positions, you'll be based regionally and return home regularly.

What You'll Do

  • Operate a flatbed truck for regional Midwest routes, completing loads safely and on schedule
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
  • Secure flatbed cargo properly, following all DOT and company load securement standards
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
  • Communicate with dispatch and coordinate pickups and deliveries
  • Adhere to Hours of Service regulations and company safety policies

What We're Looking For

  • Current Class A CDL with a clean driving record
  • Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer driving experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and vehicle inspection knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and manage time on regional routes
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all DOT regulations
