Storage Marketing Strategist

U-Haul is seeking a full-time Storage Marketing Strategist in Phoenix, Arizona to lead marketing strategy and operational initiatives within our self-storage division. This onsite role based in Phoenix's Maricopa County offers the opportunity to shape pricing strategies and oversee facility development across one of the nation's largest storage networks.

About the Role

As Storage Marketing Strategist at U-Haul's Phoenix, Arizona headquarters, you'll drive revenue growth and operational efficiency for our self-storage portfolio. You'll work cross-functionally to develop and execute marketing strategies that position our facilities competitively while managing critical business operations that directly impact profitability and customer acquisition.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement pricing strategies and rate schedules that optimize revenue while maintaining market competitiveness across storage facilities
• Coordinate the planning and execution of new facility launches and conversion construction projects with internal teams including operations, finance, and development
• Develop marketing campaigns and promotional strategies to drive occupancy and increase customer awareness of storage locations in the Phoenix and surrounding Maricopa County markets
• Analyze market data and competitor activity to inform pricing decisions and marketing positioning
• Collaborate with regional and corporate teams to ensure successful integration of new and renovated storage facilities into existing operations
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies based on facility occupancy and market conditions

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in marketing strategy, pricing strategy, or related roles in storage, real estate, or hospitality
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with ability to develop pricing models and revenue forecasts
• Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns that drive customer acquisition and retention
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, economics, or related field preferred
