Spring Branch ISD is hiring an Instructional Specialist to support educational excellence across multiple grade levels during the 2026-2027 school year. About the Role

As an Instructional Specialist, you will serve as a key resource for your school building, reporting directly to the principal. You'll drive improvements in teaching practice, curriculum implementation, and student outcomes by supporting teachers and facilitating evidence-based instructional practices across grade levels.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with building administration to develop and implement instructional initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning
  • Provide professional development and instructional coaching to teachers to enhance classroom practice
  • Support curriculum alignment with state and district standards across multiple grade levels
  • Analyze student achievement data and use it to identify instructional needs and guide improvement efforts
  • Facilitate the implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies and assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers to evaluate instructional programs and support continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Valid teaching certificate with multi-level or multi-subject endorsement
  • Classroom teaching experience or proven background in instructional leadership or coaching
  • Deep knowledge of curriculum design, instruction, and student assessment practices
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to leverage data to inform instructional decisions and support teacher growth
