About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
- Provide specialized academic and behavioral instruction in inclusive and resource settings.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to ensure student progress.
- Assess student performance and adjust instructional strategies based on data.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state special education requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBSI) endorsement.
- Knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and evidence-based instructional practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, colleagues, and families.
