Dollar General is hiring a Retail District Manager (Full Time) for our Stephenson, Frederick County location serving the Winchester, VA area and surrounding communities. About the Role

As a Retail District Manager, you'll oversee the performance, operations, and growth of assigned store locations across your district. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning with on-the-ground execution, reporting directly to regional leadership and serving as the bridge between corporate direction and store-level excellence.

What You'll Do

• Manage daily operations and performance across multiple Dollar General store locations
• Hire, train, develop, and coach store managers and support team members
• Drive sales growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across your assigned district
• Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure compliance with company standards and merchandising guidelines
• Monitor financial metrics including labor costs, inventory management, and P&L performance
• Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement
• Identify training needs and mentor store leaders to build capability within the organization
• Partner with Distribution Centers and Store Support Center teams to optimize supply chain execution
• Lead cross-functional projects that support Dollar General's growth and operational goals

• Flexible schedule with willingness to travel throughout your assigned district
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
