Substitute Licensed Teacher – District Wide – SD27J for the 2026-27 School Year

27J Schools is looking for dedicated substitute licensed teachers to deliver engaging instruction across all grade levels throughout our district during the 2026-27 school year. This is a full-time position serving as a district-wide substitute educator, available starting August 20, 2026.

About the Role

As a substitute teacher with 27J Schools, you'll step into classrooms across our district, maintaining continuity of learning while regular educators are absent. You'll work with students from elementary through secondary grades, implementing lesson plans and fostering a supportive learning environment in each classroom you enter.

What You'll Do

• Deliver quality instruction aligned with classroom lesson plans across diverse grade levels and subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, organized learning environment
• Communicate with regular teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and classroom happenings
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of individual learners
• Contribute to the overall mission and culture of 27J Schools in every classroom assignment

What We're Looking For

• Valid Colorado teaching license (or equivalent state certification)
• Bachelor's degree in education or subject area (or higher)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Flexibility and reliability in responding to scheduling needs across our district
• A genuine commitment to student success and learning
