About the Role

As a Traveling Business Office Manager, you'll support the operational success of our skilled nursing facilities by leading business office functions across multiple communities. This position offers independence and visibility—managing critical revenue cycle operations, financial oversight, and staff leadership while traveling between assigned facilities throughout Texas.

What You'll Do

• Direct business office operations including patient billing, insurance verification, and claims processing
• Oversee patient accounts and maintain accurate financial records with strict attention to detail
• Manage collections and follow-up on outstanding patient balances
• Lead and develop business office staff, fostering accountability and professional growth
• Maintain compliance with healthcare billing regulations, coding standards, and facility requirements
• Prepare financial reports and monitor budget performance across assigned facilities
• Collaborate with facility administrators to support revenue cycle goals and operational excellence
• Travel regularly to multiple skilled nursing facilities in Marion, Guadalupe County, and surrounding areas

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record as a Business Office Manager in skilled nursing or long-term care settings
• Strong healthcare billing knowledge, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance processes
• Demonstrated leadership ability with healthcare administrative teams
• Expertise in patient account management and collections
• Proficiency with healthcare billing software and standard office applications
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
• Comfort with travel and managing across multiple facility locations
• Professional discretion when handling confidential patient financial information
