About the Role
As the Graduate Assistant for Leadership Programming at Trinity University, you will partner closely with the Assistant Director for Student Engagement to design, deliver, and evaluate programs that help students grow as campus leaders. This hands-on, on-campus position offers practical experience in higher education administration while you pursue your graduate studies. The role falls under the Student job family and is classified as non-exempt, with compensation ranging from $10.00 to $13.07 per hour; actual starting pay reflects internal equity, prior experience, and educational background.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director for Student Engagement to plan and coordinate leadership development programming.
- Support the day-to-day operations of student engagement events and activities.
- Assist in facilitating workshops, training, and initiatives that build student leadership skills.
- Help assess program outcomes and contribute ideas for ongoing improvement.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Student Engagement and Development team.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment as a graduate student.
- Interest in student leadership, campus engagement, or higher education administration.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, and students on a college campus.
- Availability to work on site in the United States, as this is not a remote position.
